How it works

From confused to covered
in about 5 minutes.

No phone calls. No hold music. No reading a 40-page document. Here's exactly what happens when you sign up.

01

Create your free account

60 seconds. No credit card.

Sign up with Google — one click, done. We use secure authentication and never store your password. Your account is the key to your personalised health profile.

  • Sign in with Google — no new password to remember
  • Your data is encrypted and private
  • Free account includes full recommendations
📋
02

Tell us about yourself

Name, age, gender, and your insurer.

We ask for a few basics so we can tailor recommendations to you specifically. A 26-year-old male on Aetna has different covered benefits than a 34-year-old female on Kaiser. These details matter.

  • Name and age — so recommendations match your life stage
  • Biological sex — some screenings are sex-specific (cervical cancer, prostate, etc.)
  • Insurance provider — from 8 major insurers including BCBS, UHC, Aetna, and more

03

Scan your insurance card

The card in your wallet — we read the plan details.

Take a photo of your insurance card and our AI reads the key details — your insurer, plan type (PPO, HMO, etc.), and group number. Not sure what those mean? We explain everything in plain English. No card? Just type the details manually.

  • Snap a photo or upload from your camera roll
  • We only read plan type and group number — never your member ID or name
  • Or enter your plan details manually — insurer, plan type, group number
  • Don't have all the details? Just your insurer name is enough to get started
04

Get your personalised checklist

Every free service, in plain English.

In under 60 seconds, we generate a checklist of every preventive service covered under your specific plan — organised by category, with frequencies, coverage notes, and priority.

  • Grouped by category: Annual Checkups, Mental Health, Vaccinations, Screenings, and more
  • Each item shows frequency (once/year, every 3 years, etc.)
  • Coverage note tells you exactly what the plan says
  • Priority ranking so you know what to book first
💊
05

Find cheaper versions of your prescriptions

Generic = same drug, 80–90% less.

Type any brand-name drug and we look it up in the U.S. National Library of Medicine database to find the FDA-approved generic equivalent. Then we link you to GoodRx, Cost Plus Drugs, and Walmart's $4 generics list so you can compare prices in seconds.

  • FDA requires generics to have the exact same active ingredient and dosage
  • Paying cash with GoodRx is often cheaper than your insurance copay
  • Cost Plus Drugs (Mark Cuban) sells many generics at cost + 15% markup
  • No prescription scanning needed — just type the drug name

Ask your AI benefits advisor anything

The knowledgeable friend you always needed.

Got questions? Ask. Your AI advisor knows your profile and plan details. Ask about copays, deductibles, in-network vs out-of-network, specific procedures, medication coverage — anything.

  • "Is my IUD covered at $0?"
  • "What counts as an in-network therapist?"
  • "How do I actually book a free screening?"
  • "What happens if I go to an out-of-network doctor?"
📈
07

Track your return on premium

See exactly what you got back for what you paid.

Your tracker turns your plan into a running ledger. Check off a free screening and we log its market value — the cash price you didn't pay — against your annual premium. Log copays and out-of-pocket visits and we update your progress toward your deductible and out-of-pocket max. No spreadsheets. Just a single page that answers: is this plan actually worth it?

  • Running total of benefits claimed vs. premiums paid
  • Live progress bars for deductible and out-of-pocket max
  • Preventive visits auto-log the moment you check them off
  • Add copays and bills in a couple of taps — no receipts to upload

Frequently asked questions

Where do I find my insurance card details?

Your physical insurance card has everything we need — the insurer name, plan type (PPO, HMO, etc.), and group number are printed on the front. If you've misplaced your card, log into your insurer's member portal (e.g. aetna.com, bcbs.com) and look under 'My Plan' or 'Coverage'. HR should also have your plan details on file.

What's the difference between PPO, HMO, EPO, and HDHP?

PPO (Preferred Provider Organization): most flexibility — see any doctor without a referral, in or out of network. HMO (Health Maintenance Organization): lower premiums, but you must use in-network doctors and get referrals for specialists. EPO (Exclusive Provider Organization): like an HMO for network, but no referrals needed. HDHP (High-Deductible Health Plan): lower monthly premiums but higher out-of-pocket costs before insurance kicks in — usually paired with an HSA.

Does benefit cover dental and vision too?

Yes, and this trips up a lot of people. Dental and vision are almost always separate from your health insurance — many young adults sign up for health coverage and don't realise they missed dental and vision enrollment. During onboarding we ask what coverage you have. If you're missing dental or vision, we show you exactly what that costs out of pocket and surface alternatives you can sign up for today — no open enrollment window required for standalone dental and vision plans.

Is my data safe?

Yes. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and we never sell it to third parties — full stop. We also deliberately collect as little as possible: we store your plan type and the recommendations we generate for you, but never your member ID, Social Security number, or personal medical records. You can delete your account and everything we have about you at any time.

How accurate are the recommendations?

Recommendations are personalised based on your age, gender, plan type, and insurer — and tailored to ACA preventive care guidelines. Coverage details vary by plan, so we always recommend confirming with your provider before booking. Think of benefit as the starting point that gives you the right questions to ask.

What insurers do you support?

Any insurer — the more plan details you provide (plan type, group number), the more tailored your recommendations. We work especially well with Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, Cigna, Humana, Kaiser Permanente, Anthem, Oscar Health, and most employer-sponsored plans.

Is there a cost?

The core experience — profile, card scan, recommendations checklist, doctor finder, and AI chat — is completely free. We offer a Pro plan ($7.99/month) with appointment reminders and full history. See our pricing page for details.
